Walk-in Counselling Clinics
Maltby Centre is pleased to offer walk-in single session counselling service in two locations. There is no referral process. This is a first come, first served, free service. Just walk in to one of the offices listed below to see a counsellor. A single session offered in a timely fashion to individuals and families ready to work toward a solution to a problem or concern is all many people require to decrease stress and get things moving in the right direction. This service is available to children, youth (under 18), parents/caregivers and families from the communities in KFL&A.
What can I expect?
An hour long conversation with a Maltby Centre counsellor which focuses on a child or youth’s behavioural, emotional or other mental health concern and a solution focused plan.

We’ve Changed Our Name!
Pathways for Children and Youth is now the Maltby Centre
Joanne Maltby was the founding Executive Director of Pathways for Children and Youth. The agency is being renamed in her honour.
The new logo is a bird poised in mid-flight. The bird symbol represents all stages of a child or youth’s journey as they learn, grow and find possibilities for change.
