Autism Services – Learning@Home: Transition to Adulthood

The Maltby Centre is now offering a series of online workshops for parents and caregivers! These workshops are designed to help parents understand concepts related to Applied Behaviour Analysis, access resources and increase overall parent capacity.

Transition to Adulthood is an online workshop for parents living in Ontario with an OAP registration number. This presentation has been developed to help parents manage the transition of their child/youth from childhood into adulthood. This workshop is not limited to parents of teenagers and we recommend you start planning for adulthood as soon as possible by attending this presentation.

As a result of participating in this workshop, you will be able to:
1. Identify resources related to the transition to adulthood
2. Create a plan that will help your child live the life they want
3. Learn to overcome barriers to your plan

To qualify for this funding you need to be a resident of Ontario and have a child or youth under the age of 18 with a diagnosed disability (ASD) and an OAP number.

Tuesday October 27, 2020 6:00p.m. – 8:00p.m.

This is a virtual workshop hosted through Zoom. Links to join on your phone, tablet, or computer will be sent out once registered.
