SUBJECT: Resumption of Maltby Centre’s Walk-In Clinic Services

Like many of you in our KFLA community, the last few years of the COVID-19 pandemic has affected the way Maltby Centre has been able to offer direct client services. At first, with a pivot to virtual services, and then in more recent times, variations of hybrid services.

We are pleased to announce that after 3.5 years, we are resuming our popular in-person Walk-In Clinic. That is, our no-appointment, come as you are, single session therapy services for children and youth (aged 0-24 years). This is a very welcome addition to our roster of services and one that we feel has been missed within our community. Our Walk-in Clinic will run every Tuesday, starting September 26th, from noon until the last appointment, starting at 6:45pm. This clinic will operate out of our main site at 31 Hyperion Court in Kingston.

Please note that French language and virtual appointments for all our sites (Kingston, Napanee, Northbrook, Sydenham, and Sharbot Lake) are still available by appointment. Please have clients call 613.546.8535, or toll free at 1.844.855.8340, to book an appointment.
Maltby continues to strive to meet the needs of our clients and communities, including our rural locations. We will be working towards expanding Walk-In services to additional days and locations in the months to come.
