Sara has pursued her education at St. Lawrence College, where she completed an Honours Bachelor of Behavioural Psychology program and a Graduate Certificate in Autism and Behavioural Services program. Her professional journey began in 2016 with Maltby Autism Services. Throughout Sara’s academic journey, she discovered a profound passion for empowering learners to find their voice and develop skills within a compassionate and trauma-informed framework. Her goal has always been to contribute to creating an inclusive world that accommodates everyone. Central to her philosophy is the belief that all behavior communicates something important, and it is our duty to learn how to listen effectively in order to support learners with diverse strengths and goals.
When working with learners and their families, her approach is grounded in ensuring that they feel genuinely heard, validated, and fully supported in achieving their goals in ways that are meaningful and impactful. This commitment drives her work as she continues to grow professionally and pursue advanced studies in Applied Disabilities Studies, aiming to earn my BCBA certification. Her ultimate aim is to enhance her ability to advocate for and support neurodiverse learners across various domains of life.

Christina is a dedicated program lead within autism services, bringing over a decade of experience to her role. Her journey began at the Maltby Centre seven years ago, where she started her career after completing her Advanced Diploma in Behavioural Science Technology at SLC. Christina’s passion for helping others shines through in her work, a trait fueled by her compassionate nature and innate ability to connect with people.
In addition to her role at the Maltby Centre, Christina has continued to advance her education. She recently completed her B.A in Psychology and is now pursuing a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology. These educational pursuits have further equipped Christina with the knowledge and skills to provide exceptional care and support to those she serves.
