Maltby Centre – OAP Foundational Family Services
Maltby Centre’s Foundational Family Services are available free of charge to all families registered with the Ontario Autism Program (OAP). These services are designed to provide timely, flexible support based on each family’s unique needs, and may include:
- Service navigation support
- Caregiver workshops and follow-up coaching sessions
- Targeted consultations
- Transition supports
- Family resource and clinic days
- Family and peer mentorship events
Community Living Kingston and District – Family Support
Community Living Kingston offers Family Support services to families who have a child with an intellectual disability. These supports are designed to help families navigate key stages and decisions, and may include:
- Advocacy alongside parents on behalf of their family member
- Support with school transitions
- Guidance when transitioning to adult services
- Assistance with short- and long-term planning
Autism Ontario – East Region/Local Family Supports
Autism Ontario (East Region) provides many family support resources focused on topics such as:
- planning for the future
- school supports
- transitions to adulthood
