Davies Foundation invests $35,400 into Maltby Centre
Kingston, ON — Maltby Centre, a registered charity with 30 years of experience providing mental health and autism services to children, youth and families, is pleased to announce a generous $35,400 contribution from the Davies Foundation to support families caring for children and youth with complex mental health and autism needs.
This funding will be used primarily to provide free respite hours, helping families access critical short-term care that offers relief from the ongoing demands of caregiving.
Respite services play a vital role in supporting family well-being, reducing caregiver burnout, and ensuring children can continue to thrive in stable, supportive environments.
“On behalf of Maltby Centre, we are deeply grateful to the Davies Foundation for this incredible investment,” said Normandie Wragg, CEO of Maltby Centre. “Respite care is essential for families navigating complex needs. This funding will directly translate into families finding greater stability, relief, and hope.”
Maltby Centre extends its sincere thanks to the Davies Foundation for their commitment to improving the lives of children and families in our community.
