Dear Families,

Maltby Centre is constantly trying to find ways to remove barriers, and as such we are excited to announce that we will have a location in Sharbot Lake! This will help us to better serve our families that otherwise may not be able to easily access programming.  

In cooperation with the Rural Frontenac Community Services, Maltby will be providing sessions at the Sharbot Lake Early ON Centre on Mondays (before 3 p.m.), Wednesday afternoons, and all day on Fridays!

Our Sharbot Lake Autism therapist will also be providing in-home or in-school sessions where their hours will be more flexible than the centre hours. Travel fees do apply when sessions are not taking place in one of our locations.

Our autism services can target a broad range of areas, such as play and social skills, communication skills, pre-academic skill development, fine and gross motor skills, self-care and daily living skills, challenging behaviours, school/group readiness training, emotional regulations, and more.

What can you expect from our services?

• Flexible Attendance in the Centre/Home/Community: Children attend/have sessions 1 to 5 times per week for 1 to 6 hours per treatment session.
• Focused and Engaging Sessions: Each session is planned, focused, and paced to meet your child/youth’s unique needs and designed with their interests at heart.
• Progress monitoring: Data is collected and reviewed each session to measure progress and adjust our approaches as needed.
