Keeping you updated on the Autism Behavioral Classroom (ABC) School Program.

The ABC Program focuses on foundational learning skills such as group instruction, literacy, essential school behaviours. and functional communication. If your child can follow instructions, and has a basic functional communicative repertoire, the ABC Program could be a stepping-stone to help solidify these pre-requisite learning skills. This program is offered to learners between the ages of 4-8 years old, who have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder, and must have an OAP number. More information can be found here: https://maltbycentre.ca/oap-core-clinical-services/

This program runs Monday-Wednesday-Friday from 8:30am-2:30pm at Rideau Heights Public School. It is staffed with 1 Limestone District Schoolboard Classroom Teacher and Educational Assistant, 3 Maltby Centre Autism Service Therapists and oversight by 1 Maltby Centre Clinical Supervisor.
