Throughout the year, we offer single session workshops to multi-week programming to help parents and caregivers obtain the tools and skills to strengthen their relationship with their children.

Workshops
Emotional Regulation for Parenting Young Children 0-6 (1 Session)
This workshop for parents of children 0 – 6 is designed to:
- Learn relationship-based approaches and strategies to manage intense emotions
- Understand the connection between development and emotional regulation
- Discuss how caregivers can support their young children with emotional regulation


Emotional Regulation for Parenting Adolescents 11-18 (1 Session)
This workshop for parents/caregivers of adolescents 11 – 18 is designed to:
- Learn about youth development
- Understand how your emotional regulation as parents impacts your youth
- Learn how to support your youth through communication they understand
Parenting Your Anxious Young Child (4 Sessions)
This workshop for parents/caregivers of children 0 – 6 is designed to:
- Understand how anxiety develops
- Explore how to teach children to face their fears
- Learn how to use rewards to increase a child’s bravery
- Understand how to use effective parenting stretgies
- Learn how to help your child become more independent.


Parenting Your Anxious Child (2 Sessions or full day)
This workshop for parents of children 7 – 18 is designed to explore:
- What anxiety is
- Why our children and teens are having difficulty
- What can we do to help them better learn to manage their anxiety
Transition to Kindergarten (1 Session)
This workshop for parents of children 3-5 is designed to support children to have a positive, emotionally healthy transition to school.


Top Tips for Improving Behaviour (1 Session)
This workshop for parents of children 0 – 18 is designed to give you 10 tips to help manage your children’s behaviour.
What is Important to Know About ADHD (1 Session)
This workshop for parents of children 6 – 18 is designed to:
- Understand what ADHD is
- Dispel myths about ADHD
- Discuss strategies that can assist children diagnosed with ADHD
