Autism Services – Secret Agent Society Ages 8 – 10

Secret Agent Society is a 12-week small-group program designed to help kids build real-life skills for handling emotions, solving social problems, and getting along with others. Using a fun secret agent theme, the group focuses on things like recognizing feelings, starting conversations, coping with frustration, and dealing with teasing. Each week builds on the last, with games, role-plays, and team missions to practice what’s been learned. Each child is provided with a Behaviour Plan. The group is overseen by a Registered Behaviour Analyst and supported by trained Autism Service Therapists. The program follows a consistent structure that makes learning clear, supportive, and engaging.

Parents/Caregivers also have the option to attend an in-person drop-in session that runs at the same time as their child’s group, providing an opportunity to review weekly content and topics, ask questions, receive coaching, and connect with other parents. There will also be on-demand videos going over each week’s content. This flexible format supports both learning and family schedules while keeping parents closely involved.

There is a mandatory orientation session on Tuesday, January 13th from 4pm to 5pm. This free session will be split into two – caregivers with the Registered Behaviour Analyst, and participants with the Autism Therapists that will be running the group. Our participants will be able to get a feel for what the group is about and the other youth that they will be meeting. As we want our youth to have the ability to make an informed choice, if they choose not to move forward with the group, there will be no cost incurred.

This group is an eligible OAP expense.
