Autism Services – Teens Chill & Connect
When: Saturdays, 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM starting Nov 1st!
Duration: 4 Sessions
Cost: $10 for the entire 4-week session
Description: This weekly program (Saturdays from 2-5pm) would be designed to provide teens with autism a relaxed, inclusive space to socialize, play, and unwind at their own pace. The program would feature a variety of activity zones tailored to different interests and sensory needs, including a Video Game Lounge, a Foosball & Tabletop Zone, a Creative Corner, Quiet Recharge Room, Board Game Station, and a Snack & Chill Area for casual conversation. All areas will be supervised by Maltby Centre’s Respite Workers, with autism support strategies, and visual supports available throughout. The goal would be to offer teens a safe, judgment-free environment to connect with peers, explore interests, and enjoy a sense of autonomy and belonging.
This program is in partnership with Autism Ontario.
Location: 31 Hyperion Court, Kingston – in our Respite and Autism Spaces
