Sensitive Santa & Winter Wonderland
Did you hear? Santa is coming to Maltby. Join us for a sensory-friendly experience. This event is for children on the autism spectrum (or with sensitivities) and their families. This year we have partnered with Autism Ontario to bring you this event.
Sensitive Santa event designed to provide a calm, inclusive, and welcoming holiday experience for children and their families. Recognizing that traditional Santa visits—like those at busy malls—can be overwhelming, this event creates a low-stimulation environment where families can enjoy the holiday season in a more comfortable setting. Children are greeted by Santa’s elves and guided through a gentle winter-themed experience, which includes a family photo in “Winter Wonderland,” one-on-one time with Santa, a holiday ornament craft, and a chance to relax with hot chocolate and cookies. The event aims to make holiday traditions more accessible and enjoyable for all.
