Connecting with Maltby
Welcome to the first step in your clinical journey at Maltby Centre! We have multiple ways in which you can connect and start services with us.
If you are a physician or community member looking to make a referral, please fill out the Service Request Form.
If you are in crisis and require immediate assistance, please see Crisis Support.
1. Workshops & Groups

Join us for a variety of workshops and groups for both child/youth and caregivers. We have several options available each quarter.
2. Walk In Clinic

This is our most popular and quickest way to access mental health services. Clients are invited to show up at one of our weekly clinics to get started on their journey. For more information, including times and locations, please visit us the walk-in clinic. This service is provided in English only.
3. One Stop Talk

This option is very similar to Maltby’s Walk In Clinic, simply that the days/hours are different and it is offered virtually in collaboration with our partners across the province. One Stop Talk/Parlons Maintenant is a Free Online confidential live access to virtual psychotherapy for children age 17 and under. Interpretation services are available for every major international language. If more services are needed, clients will have the support of a systems navigator to refer them to their local children’s mental health agency. In the KFL&A area, Maltby Centre is the agency that will receive these follow up referrals.
4. Request an Appointment

For any child/youth, parent/guardian, community worker or medical provider looking to make an autism or mental health referral, please use our online PHIPA secure referral link. Referrals are triaged within 2 business days, following which, we will reach out to clients with next steps. Wait times vary depending on the service and location.
