Busy Bees Communication Club
This summer skill-building group focused on Functional Communication Training for friends who communicate using pictures, buttons, high-tech AAC apps, sign language, and/or emerging vocal verbal skills.
This group is designed to provide lots of meaningful communication opportunities embedded throughout fun, structured activities. We will practice skills such as:
- Requesting things we want
- Asking for things we need
- Commenting and sharing ideas
- Turn-taking language
- Using language during play and social interactions
Our sessions will include:
* A morning song circle
* A hands-on craft activity
* Guided play time
* A snack with built-in communication opportunities
This group offers a supportive, inclusive environment where children can build confidence, practice communication in natural ways, and connect with peers while having fun.
Ages: 3-7
Cost: $1700
Dates: July 20 – 24, 2026.
Times: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Orientation: A mandatory 1 hr. orientation will occur on July 13th at 9 a.m.
