What is SAS Small Group?
Secret Agent Society (SAS) is a breakthrough approach for empowering children’s social and emotional skills. The SAS Small Group Program consists of small group child sessions (club meetings), parent group meetings, and tip sheets, paired with real-life practice missions and a system to monitor and reward skill development at home. Combining family and facilitator resources, the content and program structure is accessed through an intuitive and engaging software package that streamlines program delivery and participation for all child and adult participants during in-person sessions and between session activities.
The curriculum captivates children with its espionage-themed games and activities. The program was developed to teach children aged 8 to 12 years old with Autism to learn how to:
Fall 2022 Group Sessions (8-10 year-olds):
Initial Meeting: ONLINE 2-hour Initial Parent Meeting (MANDATORY)
Group Sessions: IN-PERSON 9 weeks of 1.5 hours with cadets, 30-45 minutes with parent
Follow-up Sessions: 1.5 hours each Cadets & Parents
***Please note this is a total group commitment of 11 weeks of groups/follow-ups totaling 15 hours (Cadets) and 8 – 9 hours (Parents)***
Cost: $1205.00 Payment must be received in full prior to the start of group.
Location: 100-31 Hyperion Drive *This is an In-Person group that will use SAS Software. If you need assistance with a computer, please let the staff know and we can provide one for the duration of the service as Cadets and Caregivers will be required to complete missions between group sessions.
Requirements: To access this group, your child requires an ASD diagnosis and must be within the identified age range. Your child must also be able to wear a mask for the duration of the group.
Group Dates: Weeks of September 20th, 2022 – November 15th, 2022
